AU History: There isn't a single person in Japan who hasn't heard of the formidable Rocket Gang, whose main territory spans across each end of Tokyo. With near-untraceable operations in smuggling and bases hidden deep underground, the Sakaki family has run business smoothly for decades. Ever since Giovanni inherited Rocket Gang, it's expanded ten times its size, and a hundred times the profits.

Having one's fingers in all underground business leads to getting to know all sorts of people - sometimes fellow business partners, other times enemies. One of those enemies was able to penetrate the heart of their bases and take his only son, vanishing with no trail to follow. Years of searching and interrogating brought no leads, so Giovanni had to accept his boy would be found only when the time was right. In the meantime, he could expand Rocket territory and profits to increase their strength over the land.

Even then, territory and money don't seem like quite enough now. He wants more strength over what he controls and what he doesn't. An extra edge is needed to stay on top of the yakuza business, no matter what the cost may be, and Giovanni isn't too happy over all these rumors about amateur groups roaming in his streets...

Fighter/Sacrifice: Fighter. Few are as determined and hard-willed as Giovanni, and he knows perfectly well how to manipulate others with words to get the results he wants. Plus, there's nothing more thrilling than being in the heart of a brawl, and he fully welcomes every challenge offered.

Other: Blame Cam for everything.

Name: Takato Matsuda

AU History:
Takato grew up as a normal, only child raised by normal parents in west Shinjuku. His parents own a successful local bakery. Takato in a word, is average. He's not a standout in school, he's not terrible at it, but he's not great at it either. The only thing that stands out about him is how much he loves Digimon. He watches the anime and collects the cards. He's never joined a tournament but he does play casually with his friends.

Fighter/Sacrifice: Fighter. Takato is imaginative and in canon his power of belief is so strong that he manages to create his own Digimon. He's the only tamer to have done so.
Zero?: Nah.

Other: Takato is incredibly sensitive once he develops a close enough bond. Canonically he shares the pain of his digimon, in this setting he'd be able to halve the pain of his sacrifice by taking it on himself.

Name: Ruki Makino

AU History: Ruki was born and raised in East Shinjuku, where she lives in a large, traditional-style home with her mother and grandmother. Ruki's mother is Rumiko Makino, a successful fashion model who married young and divorced while Ruki was a young child. Ruki's father is estranged. Rumiko was only 18 at the time of Ruki's birth, and as a result their relationship is often more akin to older and younger sisters than parent and child. While Ruki's mother adores fashion, photography, and cute things related to her industry, Ruki detests them and prefers hobbies involving strategy. She's an avid TCG player and currently holds the National Champion title in Japan for Pokémon in the Junior age bracket. Her favorite game, however, is the far-less-popular Digimon Card Battle, which unfortunately for her rarely holds large-scale tournaments and also offers little in the way of worthy competition.

Fighter/Sacrifice: Sacrifice. In canon, Ruki plays the role of strategist, and aids her partner Renamon as a digimon tamer, which involves bolstering Renamon's attacks with Option Cards and—eventually—empathic sharing of physical strength and pain through ~*~the power of friendship~*~. (The latter does require a great many, many lessons first on Ruki's part, in treating her partner with love and equal respect, instead of as just a mindless fighting machine.)

IC Information

Name: Elizabeth (Canon name; her real name is Miyako Wakahisa, but she likes the name "Elizabeth" a lot better.)
Age: 16
Canon: Persona 3

AU History: Elizabeth is something known as a resident of the Velvet Room in canon, a place between dream and reality that exists on a separate plane; she's able to summon Personas as well as fuse them, and is incredibly powerful.

But here? She's just an eccentric young woman from a fairly well-off family who's been homeschooled most of her life and as a result has a... fairly eccentric personality. While not a resident of the Velvet Room at all, she likes to (role)play at being one - both online and offline - which wins her a lot of weird looks when she goes out in public. She's an avid fan of the Shin Megami Tensei series, especially the Persona series, and the attendants always had an air of mystery about them that she's always wanted to emulate.

But instead of mysterious, she just kind of comes off a little kooky. She thinks she's mysterious and that's what's important to her. Along with keeping her hair bobbed and dyed, of course.

Fighter/Sacrifice: Fighter. She's very driven and despite the fact she should think with her head, she often goes along with her heart instead. She's also incredibly creative and has a... vivid imagination, to say the least. Elizabeth also tends to dedicate herself to one cause (or makes a person her cause, as is the case with Persona 3's protagonist) and would definitely be suited to go the lengths a Fighter needs to go to.
Zero?: Yes! She's a Velvet Room resident in canon, which makes her incredibly different from pretty much everyone else outside of other residents. It'd make her stand out in the same way here as her weirdo residency in what's more or less a dimensional rift does in canon.

Other: She insists very firmly on everyone calling her Elizabeth and, in fact, puts it down as her name pretty much anywhere and everywhere. Also, in canon, she's able to sense gods and spirits -- I'd like to carry this over here as being sensitive to the paranormal!

Born into a large and fairly poor family located in a small town called Ébauche in France. Lily had a rough start in life. The youngest and weakest of the children she was neglected and ignored for the better part of her young life. No matter what she did it seemed like they would always look for reasons to outcast her. This was made worse when bad things seemed to always happen around her. It was enough for her superstitious family and village to believe there was something evil to do with it. Believing she was the product of the devil they branded her face with red ink and banished her from the village. Left alone in the woods she was found and taken in by the Baskerville family.

A family of misfits themselves, though quite wealthy, they didn't care about her bad luck and accepted her the way she was. The leader of the family Glen Baskerville was more than happy to have her around. This even lead to two of her new brothers tattooing their own faces to match hers. It was the first time in her life that she actually felt loved and accepted. Living happily with the family in England she was able given and taught more than she imagined and she learned to adapt easily. Even when they decided to move to Nerima, Tokyo, Japan for business reasons when she turned twelve. There she began to attend a school, Aoba-Japan International School, and learn the language, then she received her e-mail.

Name: Blue Yamabuki

AU History: Blue was a daughter to a well-to-do family from the city, kidnapped at a young age by an old man, along with several other children like Silver. However, she managed to escape with Silver in tow, and after they were free someone contacted authorities and the search for their true families began. They became foster kids, going from home to home as they grew. She had a habit of thieving and conning people, which made it difficult for her to get placed and adopted - she also heavily fought against the chance of getting adopted without Silver. If Silver wasn't being considered for adoption by the same parents as she was, she would act out and make herself undesirable.

Aside from pulling cons, weird disguises and petty larceny, Blue also tinkered with technology. Sometimes she would actually invent devices, or enhance something she had swiped - she has a pretty promising future as an engineer, if she decides to pursue that for certain. Her grades went along well enough, since she was smart enough to breeze through the classes and had enough time to disappear and cause mischief.

As she got older, the mischief slowed down thanks to her case worker putting more effort into looking for her birth parents. And eventually, they really were found! Blue's been spending the past few months with them, trying to catch up on lost time.

Fighter/Sacrifice: Fighter. Blue is inventive, intuitive, and has very good instincts. She responds well to pressure, and avoids taking hits. Sneaky though she is, she'd be a good Fighter.

Fighter/Sacrifice: Fighter. Yamaguchi's most prominent personality trait is loyalty, particularly toward his best friend Tsukishima. That's not to say Yamaguchi will always blindly follow his friends without question, or that he has no sense of personal drive or ambition, but he definitely has the mindset of a team player and often derives inspiration for his own goals from the people around him.
